Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Executive Director to lead our transitional living program. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing client cases, and driving the strategic vision of the organization. Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership:
- Provide strategic leadership to the organization, ensuring the effective implementation of the transitional living program.
- Develop and execute program policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the board of directors to establish and achieve organizational goals.
- Case Management:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine needs and create individualized case plans.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting case plans as necessary.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients facing challenges.
- Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local community partners, stakeholders, and agencies.
- Represent the organization in community events and collaborate with other service providers.
- Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, ensuring a positive and supportive work environment.
- Foster a collaborative team culture and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Social Media and Marketing:
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms that aligns with our mission and values.
- Create visual and written content, including graphics, videos, and blog posts.
- Implement and manage social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, and foster a positive online community.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics to inform strategy and improve reach.
- Prepare regular reports on social media activity and suggest improvements.
- Financial Management:
- Work with the board of directors to develop and manage the program budget.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships to support program sustainability; Stay informed about relevant grant programs and application requirements.
- Identify and research potential funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in counseling, social work, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Proven experience in nonprofit leadership, program management, and case management.
- Strong understanding of social issues, homelessness, and transitional living programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and community stakeholders.
- Grant writing and fundraising experience is a plus.
